What exactly is a “fine art” portrait?
Fine Art is defined as, “creative art, especially visual art whose products are to be appreciated primarily or solely for their imaginative, aesthetic, or intellectual content.”
It’s no secret to those closest to me that I spend hours upon hours editing images from my sessions. I believe that editing is where you can really take your images to the next level. My Fine Art Child Portrait Sessions are classic and timeless, with a vintage feel. The focus of these sessions is 100% on the beauty and personality of the child. What that means is that I do not use props, but I DO provide the outfit for the child to wear during the session to remain in-line with my unique style and vision.
Here are some examples of before and after images. You can really see the difference that editing makes when transforming an image from “professional” to “fine art”.
